UAV components

1. For multi-rotor drone, using SLS or MJF PA 12 to print rack has become quite popular, as the topological structure can enable a weight reduction design.  In some application, In some cases, for instance, when an UAV lands and crashes to the ground, or when it passes through and hits a tree or an electric wire, they rack might be destroyed. By smoothing the rack in advance, we can get below advantage to get a more reliable rack.

        a.Tensie strength increase by ≥10%，elongation ≥25%，can hold more crash load. 

        b.Surface roughness ≤2um， some notches caused by printing defects could be  removed.  

2. For fixed-wing drone, usually FDM printed with ABS、PLA or ASA material. After printed,  surface roughness is ≥10um, by using smoothing process, can get better aerodynamic performance 

        a.The maximum gliding ratio increases by15% - 22%, frictional resistance reduces by 18%.

        b.The stall speed decreases by 15%.

        c.The flight range increases by 20-25%.
